The Srixon ZXiR irons (released for 2026) are designed as a "maximum forgiveness" game-improvement set, aimed at high-handicap golfers (20-36 range) who want premium performance without the clunky look of traditional game-improvement clubs. These irons feature a new, softer i-ALLOY steel, designed to offer a better feel than the typical 431 steel used in this category.

✓ Before joining Southern Pines, he served his apprenticeship at the Hamilton Golf and Country Club under professionals Dick Borthwick and Ken Steeves.

✓ He took over the operation of Southern Pines Golf and Country Club from the original owner, Jack Stradwick, and eventually became the owner himself alongside his wife, Elaine.
